How long does the whole process take?
For a straightforward Will or LPA, it’s usually a couple of weeks from first consultation to signed documents. So, an initial chat, a draft for you to check, and a final appointment to sign. If your situation is urgent, we can often move faster.
Do I have to visit an office?
Not at all. Everything can be done from the comfort of your own home, across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, at no extra charge. Many clients find a home visit far easier and more relaxed.
Is the initial consultation really free and without obligation?
Yes, genuinely. The consultation is free, and you are under no obligation to proceed. We’ll explain what we recommend and what it would cost, and you’re free to take your time deciding.
Do I need both a Will and LPA's?
In most cases, yes. Having both documents in place gives you the reassurance that your affairs will be looked after, your loved ones protected, and important decisions made by the people you choose, both during your lifetime and after you're gone.
